On Ancestral Veneration (Senzo Kuyo)
- 先祖供養は、東洋における大乗仏教や儒教、道教、神道において広く行われているのであるが、西洋社会においてはユダヤ教、キリスト教、イスラム教の影響で先祖供養という概念は存在しないのである。あくまでもメモリアル（思い出、追悼）として祈りを捧げるのである。
Ancestral veneration is widely practiced in the East through Mahayana Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Shinto. In contrast, within Western society—influenced by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—the concept of ancestral veneration as a means of spiritual intervention does not exist. Instead, prayers are offered strictly as a ‘memorial’—a way of remembering and paying tribute to the deceased.
In Eastern traditions, there is a fundamental understanding that the connection between ancestors and descendants remains active. However, in the Western monotheistic framework, once a soul passes, it enters the domain of the Divine, making the act of ‘purifying’ or ‘aiding’ the ancestor from the physical world an unfamiliar concept.
- 量子情報論から考察する場合、霊魂（意識と量子情報）は重力場に応じてそれぞれの量子場に所属しているのである。それは現界において肉体に宿っている場合も同様である。それがその霊魂の幸不幸を決定している。そして、前項で述べた通り霊魂は霊線（量子的なもつれ）によって外界（人物や事物）との繋がりがあり、量子情報は常に反映しているのである。神仏との霊線（量子的なもつれ）を確立することが信仰の意義であることは実践編「量子論」で説明したが、そのためには媒介とする御神体や御守が重要である。霊魂はより高位な神霊と量子的なもつれを結ぶことにより、その霊魂の量子情報の純化、改善は速やかに行われるのである。また、量子的な結びつきのある子孫が善行を行うことにより、その量子情報が反映され、祖霊の量子情報の純化、改善が速やかになるのは当然である。また、歓喜や感謝、恩義の想念は正の量子情報として反映し、霊魂の浄化を促進することも事実である。
From the perspective of quantum information theory, a soul (consciousness and its information) belongs to a specific quantum field determined by its gravitational state. This remains true even when the soul dwells within a physical body in the material world, and this affiliation dictates the soul’s state of happiness or misfortune. As previously noted, souls maintain connections with external entities (people and objects) through ‘Reisen’ (quantum entanglement), ensuring a constant reflection of information.
As explained in Practical Application, ‘Quantum Theory,’ the significance of faith lies in establishing a quantum entanglement with divine beings. For this purpose, mediators such as ‘Goshintai’ (divine objects) or ‘Omamori’ (charms) are vital. By forming an entanglement with higher-dimensional divine spirits, the purification and improvement of a soul’s quantum information proceed rapidly. Furthermore, when descendants with quantum ties perform virtuous deeds, that positive information is reflected back, naturally accelerating the purification of ancestral spirits. It is an undeniable fact that thoughts of joy, gratitude, and obligation reflect as positive quantum information, facilitating the soul’s purification.
- 東洋の場合、祖霊舎や仏壇、霊壇を設けて、そこへ祖霊の霊魂を入霊（霊線を繋ぐー量子的なもつれをつくる）した位牌または霊璽を配置し、祖霊を招じ、祈りを捧げるのであるが、故人の愛玩のものや個人が執筆したものには量子的なもつれが生じているから、それを代わりにする場合もある。また、墓地には故人の遺骨が存在するのであるから、当然量子的なもつれが存在し、その霊線を辿って祖霊は招来すると考えられる。また、その祖霊舎、仏壇、霊壇に神仏を共に祭る場合もあるが、それはより高位の神霊の光（清純な波動）によって祖霊の霊魂が浄化されるからである。それによって祖霊はより高次の量子場に移行でき、幸福度は増すのである。ただし、低次の量子場に所属する霊魂は、自由が制限されているため、招来することはできないが、霊線を通じで想念（清純な波動）を送る事は可能であるから、祖霊が招来できないからといって無意味ではないのである。また、祖霊に対して供物を備えるが、祖霊はそのものの精（霊ー量子情報）を頂くのである。人間は、生きている場合は食物の体（物質的側面）と精（霊ー量子情報）を両方を摂取しているのであるが、祖霊はその食物の霊的側面（量子情報）のみを摂取されるのである。従って、お下げしたお供え物は精が抜けているから不味いのである。
In Eastern traditions, households establish ancestral shrines (Soreisha), Buddhist altars (Butsudan), or spirit altars. Within these, memorial tablets (Ihai) or spirit tokens (Reiji)—which are ‘enshrined’ to establish a spiritual line or quantum entanglement—are placed to invite and pray to ancestral spirits. In some cases, a deceased person’s cherished belongings or manuscripts may serve as a substitute, as they hold a strong quantum entanglement with the owner. Similarly, since a grave contains the physical remains (bones) of the deceased, a clear quantum entanglement exists, allowing the ancestral spirit to be summoned along that spiritual line.
Furthermore, deities or Buddhas are often enshrined alongside ancestors. This is because the ‘Light’ (pure vibrations) of higher-dimensional divine spirits purifies the ancestral soul. Through this, the ancestor can migrate to a higher-level quantum field, increasing their state of happiness. While souls in lower quantum fields may have restricted freedom and cannot be physically summoned, it remains meaningful to send them thoughts (pure vibrations) via the spiritual line. Regarding offerings, ancestors partake of the ‘Essence’ (Sei)—the spiritual or quantum information—of the food. While living humans consume both the physical matter and the spiritual essence, ancestors consume only the spiritual aspect. Consequently, food that has been offered often loses its flavor because its ‘essence’ has been extracted.
