A Critique of Modern Medicine
- 幸福論とも重なるが、岡田茂吉師は「人生幸福の全部は健康の二字に尽きる」と述べられ、健康の真諦は自然順応であり、自然尊重であると教えられている。
Overlapping with his theory of happiness, Master Okada_Mokichi stated, ‘The entirety of a happy life is summed up in the two words: Health.’ He taught that the true essence of health lies in adaptation and respect for nature.
- 現代は、医療技術は格段に進歩しつつあるが、ガン（悪性新生物）、心疾患、脳血管疾患、自己免疫疾患、感染症、精神疾患（統合失調症、神経症、自閉症など）、発達障害など様々な病気が増加傾向にあり、医師の不足や経済的負担（施設や高額な機器の維持管理）等で閉鎖する病院も多く、また過疎地における問題など、医療体制が追い付いていない状況である。
In the present day, while medical technology continues to advance remarkably, there is a rising trend in various diseases, including cancer (malignant neoplasms), heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, infectious diseases, mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia, neurosis, and autism), and developmental disabilities. Consequently, the medical system is struggling to keep pace; many hospitals are closing due to physician shortages and the immense financial burden of maintaining facilities and expensive equipment, further exacerbating medical access issues in depopulated areas.
- また、人々は上記の疾患の治療のため高額の医療費負担を強いられ、また高齢化による慢性疾患の治療費に対しても、年金受給額が追い付いていないため、貧窮に陥っている者も多く、社会問題となっている。
Furthermore, people are forced to bear a heavy financial burden for the treatment of these diseases. For those with chronic illnesses associated with aging, pension benefits are often insufficient to cover medical costs, leading many into poverty and creating a significant social crisis.
- 病気疾患の治療のための高額の医療費の負担に加え、それに伴う休業、失業等による経済的、精神的圧迫、家族への負担など、その苦痛は計り知れないものがある。
In addition to the heavy burden of high medical expenses for treatment, the resulting financial and mental pressure from leave of absence or unemployment, as well as the strain on family members, create an immeasurable amount of suffering.
- 病気の解決と健康の増進については岡田茂吉師の教えに基づき「量子論からの幸福論」の中で詳しく触れているが、 それを実現するには、できるだけ年齢の早い時期から実践できる社会構造を構築していかなくてはならない。
While the resolution of illness and the promotion of health are discussed in detail within ‘The Theory of Happiness from the Perspective of Quantum Theory’—based on the teachings of Master Mokichi Okada—realizing this requires the construction of a social structure where these practices can be implemented from the earliest possible stage of life.
- そのためには、まず家庭から必要な条件を整えていかなければならない。
To achieve this, we must first establish the necessary conditions starting from within the home.
- 一番大切な条件は、家族を構成するメンバーが正しい知識と判断力を身につけなければならない。
The most essential condition is that each family member must acquire correct knowledge and the power of judgment.
- 個人個人の正しい知識による選択が、家庭、地域、社会、民族、国家に広がり、真に幸福な未来を築いていくことが出来ます。
Individual choices based on right knowledge will ripple out through families, communities, societies, nations, and races, ultimately building a truly happy future for all humanity.
